An Announcement (15/05/09)

Hello all Shed Seven fans!

As you can probably see, I have decided to take down the front page of Magic Streets. I redesigned and relaunched the site back in early 2007, not long after the lads announced their first comeback tour - since then Magic Streets has been the number one online location for everything Shed Seven.

With the announcement this week of the new tour for 2009 came the relaunch of shedseven.com. I am pleased to say that I was asked by the band earlier this year to oversee the launch and maintenance of shedseven.com, as well as the other online branches they currently have (Facebook, Twitter etc). I happily accepted on the proviso that a) there would only be one outlet of news, in as much as magicstreets.co.uk and shedseven.com weren't competing for news and features, and b) the forum here at magicstreets.co.uk stays and remains with it's 'unofficial' status. This was happily agreed upon. For me it didn't make sense to replicate content here and at the .com site, so from now on, features and news will be handled on the .com site - and the message board, still remaining impartial and unofficial, will remain here at Magic Streets.

Be sure that all the features, ideas and updates that made magicstreets.co.uk so good since 2003 will be carried on over to shedseven.com under my watchful eye - and over the coming weeks, a number of items that were on the front page here at Magic Streets will move over to shedseven.com - in the meantime, you can still access the old front page here.

So, with the exciting news of the tour and new material comes the exciting dawn of a new online era for Shed Seven. As ever if you have any questions, you can get in touch with me in the forum!
